So here is the wig I shared a side shot of last night. This wig is the new version of PERFECTION.
Back in January I purchased the Classic Perfection wig (still being sold) & can HONESTLY say that in the four years I have been wearing wigs, to date she is my fave. I continue to wear different wigs that I do love and one day I may find a new fave, but for now she’s it. My feed (some photos are archived) & stories since I purchased her have proven just that.
So when I was asked to give this wig a try I was overjoyed, grateful and excited that I get to show her to you.
What’s the difference between Perfection #1 and Perfection #2? My P#1 features: lace front, wefted cap and no layers vs P#2 is a full lace cap, silk top and has long layers. I mentioned on my channel that I wanted to be fair and fill you in on how she really holds up and feels in terms of comfort etc. after wearing her for a month on a regular basis. It is easy to show how a wig looks straight out the box before a wash etc… but I know that isn’t enough to ensure that what you are interested in is a good buy. It is important to me to be able to address any questions or concerns you have about this wig.
SO for now SWIPE to see how she looked out the box (she was curled but is not naturally that way) before her wash/after and to see some of the questions that have been asked that will be addressed in separate posts. First 2 pics are post wash/styled. I will answer each question in its own separate post because I want to be as detailed as possible and not flood the post with too much misc info. God willing, tomorrow night I will share some more about her.
Wash Details: I washed the wig with shampoo only and I rinsed with warm water.
I put her on a towel, folded towel over & gently pressed on it for excess water to come out. (See my wash day highlight for step by step)
Dry Details: I did not comb the hair right away, I let her hang out on the collapsible wig stand I had for a 1/2 hour or so & when she was damp I combed the hair & let her dry overnight.
Style: heated barrel w/heat protectant & smidge of frizz control.
